South Kensington

One of London's wealthiest areas, South Kensington is home to some of the capital's cultural landmarks and most famous museums, The Victoria & Albert Museum, The Science Museum and The Natural History Museum as well as Royal Parks and a huge range of fabulous shops. And the museums are free! Located in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, an inner London borough with royal status. It is the smallest borough in London and the second smallest district in the whole of England.

South Kensington, also known as South Ken, is an area where you can while away a whole day and enjoy some great culture and entertainment and where there are lots of places to go in the evening for a bite to eat or a drink after work.   From DJs, films, late night exhibitions, concerts, inspiring talks, immersive performances, sleepovers, Museum Lates and lectures.

Out and about in South Kensington there are plenty of great outdoor attractions for you to visit ranging from boating on the Serpentine, walking tours around Albertopolis, Queen Caroline's temple, the Princess Diana Memorial Fountain, having and ice cream in Kensington Gardens, a trip to Princess Diana's Memorial Playground and so much more....

And last but not least the Royal Albert Hall. London's famed venue hosts many concerts, performances and even tennis matches, as well as the renowned BBC Proms.

Beside the Royal Albert Hall is the Royal College Art, a postgraduate art and design college which holds regular exhibitions of the work of up-and-coming artists and designers.
