Oxford Street

The famous Oxford Street has long been a popular shopping destination and offers a huge variety of vibrant stores along it's length.

Covent Garden

In London's Covent Garden area, you can enjoy performance artists engaging in entertaining street theatre and take a stroll round the market selling nic-nacs and jewellery. Charming restaurants and boutiques abound and there is the famous London Transport Museum where you can gain a fascinating insight into how London's public transport network evolved through the years.

The National Gallery

Enjoy a wander round the National Gallery, an art museum in Trafalgar Square in the City of Westminster. Founded in 1824, it houses a myriad collection of over 2,300 paintings dating from the mid-13th century to 1900, altarpieces to the Impressionists. It is open daily and offers guided tours. It houses The Espresso Bar, as well as the beautiful Ochre restaurant and Muriel's Kitchen cafe.  A great place for ladies who lunch!

Marble Arch

Marble Arch is a great place to stay - wander across to Hyde Park and enjoy one of London's magnificent green areas. There's a multiplex cinema right there and, of course, it is at the end of Oxford Street with it's fabulous array of shops.

Marylebone

Marylebone is a charming area and its village atmosphere offers a quiet, peaceful vibe with easy access to Regent's Park. The area is exclusive and popular with guests and visitors alike. Marylebone High Street - well known for its homeware and antique stores - has a diverse choice of beautiful boutiques and independent shops. The beautiful, Edwardian, galleried bookstore Daunt Books is a sanctuary for bookworms. Independent cafes, fish markets and chic, trendy shops abound in this charming area which is not far from Hyde Park, Mayfair, St John's Wood, Paddington and Regents Park. Other points of interest nearby include Oxford Street, the West End, St Christopher's Place, Selfridges, Madame Tussauds Wax Museum and Sherlock Holmes Museum. Art buffs will enjoy the Wallace Collection, which is reputed to be one of the best collections of fine art, porcelain and furnishings in the world. After you have enjoyed browsing the local shops and museums you can head to one of the many popular bars to unwind before retiring to one of the charming period apartments we offer in the Marylebone area.

Fitzrovia

Fitzrovia is a diverse residential area where grand 18th and 19th century apartments abound. Well situated for the West End theatres, Fitzrovia has many hotels, galleries and old-school pubs. Charlotte Street is lined with lively bistros and cafes and many of the quiet streets are home to new media, advertising and architectural companies as well as a number of art galleries. The iconic BT Tower is in the centre of the neighbourhood and dominates the skyline.

Theatreland

Theatreland is great for a whole host of entertainment - shows, musicals, restaurants etc. So many opportunities to see so many great things.

Oxford Street

Oxford Street is the world's biggest high street, a shoppers paradise offering a mile and a half of retail opportunities in the City of Westminster in the West End of London. It runs from Tottenham Court Road to Marble Arch via Oxford Circus.

It is Europe's busiest shopping street, with around half a million daily visitors visiting some 100+ flagship stores and shops.

Whether you are looking for fashion, beauty, technology or homeware you will not be disappointed. You can shop the very best high-street brands such as Gap, H&M, the American Nike Town, the young and hip River Island, Primark (inexpensive fashion) and the UK's iconic department stores including the world famous Selfridges where luxury goods are beautifully displayed, the quality retail store of John Lewis & Partners (good for fashion and electronics) and the flagship store of the ever popular, conservative Marks & Spencer.

With over 500 restaurants within five minutes' walk, you'll have plenty of dining opportunities.

Getting to Oxford Street is easy, with Marble Arch, Bond Street and Oxford Circus stations all serving this lively hub. The bus service is very good in this area. Much of Oxford Street is pedestrianised and there are, of course, plenty of black cabs around.

Many shops and department stores are open Monday to Saturday from 9 am to 9pm and Sunday from 11.30 am to 6pm. Oxford Street can be quite busy at times so to avoid the crowds it is probably best to avoid the street during the week between 5 and 6.30 pm and on Saturday afternoons. The queues to pay in shops and to access the underground are normally more dense at that time.

Leading from Oxford Street you can also enjoy the luxury shops of Regent Street towards Piccadilly Circus and take a stroll through Carnaby Street on the way and experience a taste of London's cool and trendy 60's heritage.
